Telegram has strict anti-spam measures that can trigger mysterious bans on both ends. Having maintained hundreds of accounts for years, I've learned how to stay under Pavel Durov’s radar. Below are the key strategies—skipping the obvious advice on environment and messaging frequency.
1. Registration Region
When a region’s phone numbers are mass-registered (e.g., +27, +43, +44, +77, +1 in the past), the reputation of those numbers drops. Accounts from such regions may get blocked by automated systems before doing anything. Use less popular area codes for your daily accounts to avoid overlap with black-hat bulk registrations.
2. Telegram Premium
Premium membership significantly boosts your account’s trust score. However, linked Premium (gifted via channels) offers weaker or inconsistent protection.
3. NFTs, Gifts, Stars, and TON Assets
Holding assets increases your account weight, though it’s not a silver bullet. +888 collectibles carry the highest trust, but one costs around 1,800 USDT (often used by whales and scammers). Frequent transfers of +888 or risky trades involving Stars can also lower your score. For TON, use Ton Space and keep 0.2–1 TON in each important account for a weight boost. Sending and receiving gifts currently has a very noticeable positive effect.

4. Frequent Group Joining or DMs
As usual, avoid rapid actions. Use bots for two-way interactions wherever possible, and join groups at a low frequency.
5. Creating Channels and Inflating Followers
These are de-weighting behaviors that also affect your main account. The best approach is to create channels with spare accounts, let them mature, and only promote them to primary channels after a safe observation period.
6. Aged Accounts and Creation Date
This is currently the most effective weight factor—one reason old accounts command high prices. An account with a long history is inherently more trusted.
7. Fragment Actions and KYC
I’m still observing this, but so far, new accounts that completed KYC via Fragment have not faced unexpected bans.
Lastly, if your Telegram account has ever been banned or forcibly logged out, even if recovered, its trust level is critically low and it will likely be banned again. Transfer any important assets immediately.
